A great singer is a multifaceted artist with skills in musicianship, acting and voice technique. As a voice coach, Ryan helps his clients to develop strong technique in these three components and to integrate them into unique, and personal interpretations. He has a diploma in acting from MacEwan University in Edmonton, and has also studied the Linklater method at Canada’s National Voice Intensive with David Smukler, and the Estill method with Anne-Marie Speed.
Ryan has taught at esteemed programs like CCM - University of Cincinnati, Ithaca College, and Sheridan College. His students have performed on Broadway, national tours, the West End, the Stratford and Shaw festivals, as well as many other theatres across Canada.
